I love it when I revisit something and suddenly see things I hadn’t seen before. I edited these two photos quite a long time ago. I hadn’t noticed a connection because there were so many photos in between the two. When I went through the edited photos again this week, I suddenly realized that the photo below was a fun recreation of this darling photo above. Great-Grandma Duval must have been behind this adorable recreation of four cousins holding hands for a photo.
My Grandma is Deane Alice Duval, the second person from the left in both photos. Her brother is Frank at the far right of each photo. Maynard Jr & Carole Jean are their first cousins and children of Maynard Seth Maffit and Jennie Marie Silta. Maynard Sr is the older brother of my great-grandma, Hope Estelle Maffit.
