These three photos represent a mother, her daughter and son-in-law, and her youngest son. Bertha Ann Huband, pictured at right, is the older sister of my 2nd great-grandfather, Heber Albert Huband. Bertha married Corydon Henry Bevans. Bertha and Corydon had nine children. Their daughter Pearl married Earl Polley, pictured in the center. Bertha and Corydon’s youngest son was named for his father and is pictured on the left.

The Bevans family members appear in this album several times. My great-grandmother was very close to her first cousin, Margaret Noble Bevans who was the daughter of Bertha & Corydon.
This post is part of a series sharing this wonderful old family photo album. You can learn more about the album here. A digital version of this photo album can be viewed on Flickr here.
The second and third photos are so clear. Did you have to do a lot of editing?
I had to look at them to remember. They were both pretty clean to begin with. I think I only spent about two minutes per photo cleaning up dust and scratches. The albums from this great-grandma are in excellent condition!
They’re beautiful photos.
Thank you, Amy! ❤️
I love Pearl’s dress; I’m going to have to try making one like it.
Ooooh, I hope it turns out great, Su! It is a very cool pattern. ❤️
Isn’t it! I found a pattern that I think I can adjust, and the fabric on Pearl’s dress is perfect — extra inspiration.
Yay! You’ll have to share the end results. 🙂
