Claude & Blanche are my great-grandparents. Blanche is the creator of this album. This photo was taken on their 60th wedding anniversary on 22 November 1977.
Eleven months and one week after this celebration, Claude would pass away on 29 October 1978. Blanche lived for five and a half years without him before passing on 26 May 1984.
I was so young when they both died that I don’t have any memories of either of them. But I sure love them. They must have been such wonderful parents to raise my Grandma to be who she was. I’m so thankful for their goodness and love. In particular, I am thankful for their 60 years, 11 months, and one week of marriage that left such a wonderful legacy through their four children and many generations of grandchildren.
