Such beautiful children! This photo is labeled as the daughters of George V and Zilpha Larsen.
And once again, I have no idea how I am connected to this family. I did find a George V Larsen married to a Zilpha Lucinda Stephensen on FamilySearch who had a whole passel of children including many, many daughters. They seem like good candidates for the parents of these children.
Family of George and Zilpha, if you come across this and can shed any light on this wonderful photo, please, let me know! I would love to hear from you.
DELIGHTFUL UPDATE – I wrote this post in November and uploaded the photo to FamilySearch at that time. I tagged it to the prospective parents, George and Zilpha Larsen that I found on FamilySearch. I added this comment, “Are these the daughters of the George V & Zilpha Larsen that I tagged this photo to? Any family insight would be great. I found this photo in an album created by my great-grandmother.”
Five days later, a son of Lucinda tagged each of the girls in the photo. I sent him a message on FamilySearch thanking him and he replied with this, “Thank you for the photo. I did not have a picture of my mother, Lucinda at that young age.”
Oh joy!! I love sharing photos and family treasures and what a delight to be able to give that type of gift to a stranger. Thank you, Grandma Ellis, for your wonderful work preserving these precious photos. I couldn’t have shared this treasure if you hadn’t first preserved it. What a great team we make! ❤️
This photo comes from the thirty-fourth page of the album. Here are pages thirty-four and thirty-five to give context for this photo:
