RootsTech 2020 Recap

Wow!  Does anyone else feel like the last three weeks have been a year?!  I can’t believe RootsTech ended just a little over three weeks ago.

No one has time to read a lengthy post right now so let me get right to the point — RootsTech was fantastic!

If you were not there, consider watching the many videos available on the RootsTech website.  The general sessions can be viewed here, for free.  There are 17 class sessions that are free to view here.  There are three sessions specifically for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that can be viewed here.

Additionally, the Virtual Pass Videos are now available.  There are 30 excellent classes included in this collection.  The Virtual Pass can still be purchased.  Learn more here.

I hope you are all staying safe and staying at home.  Hopefully, together, we can help flatten the curve so our medical professionals have a fighting chance to care for those who will inevitably become ill.  Let’s not repeat the disastrous fatalities of the 1918 flu pandemic!

Here are some of my photos from RootsTech (hover or click to view the captions):

Have a wonderful week my friends!  xoxo

  1. In my new spirit of looking for positives — maybe pandemic lock-down is the kick in the pants I needed to start Shaking the Tree again. I hope you and your family are well Amberly.

    1. Thank you, Su, we are well. Going a little bit stir-crazy, but that is probably pretty normal. Hopefully we won’t get to experience this again and find out. 😉

Hooray!! I hope it will be a happy distraction for you to write about your ancestors. ❤️

  2. Your pictures are a fun memory of your Roots conference. My granddaughter came up from BYU to visit that weekend. We did decide to self isolate & I’m beginning to go a bit stir crazy myself. Your posts lift my spirit so please take care everyone.

    1. Thank you, Nancy! We have been staying home as well. It is hard, but so important! ❤️
