French Genealogy Education Resources, Part 1: Free FamilySearch Learning Center Courses

 

Becoming an excellent genealogist requires quality education and practice.  The FamilySearch Learning Center includes many quality instructional videos.  This resource is free.  You can search the Learning Center collection here.  You can also view the very long list of available classes here.

I have assembled a list of the videos about French Genealogy below.  You will notice that I also included a few videos about Latin.  If you are researching in France you will eventually need to read records in Latin.

Clicking on the title of each class will take you directly to the video.  If there is a handout for the class I included the link as well.  The length of each video is also listed.
