Ancestry.com started a new thing. A very cool new thing they call ‘Between the Leaves‘. I watched the first video recently and was struck by this statement made by Crista Cowan. She was talking about the importance of sources and citing those sources, whatever they are. And then she threw out this great statement – Truth without proof – not really truth. How often I have found hand written notes with family information but there is no attribution and my truth is not really truth until I prove it with a source. If you missed the video, check it out.
