A study group to help you learn how to maximize your use of FamilySearch to find more records about your ancestors.  Learn more here.



Three consecutive Wednesdays — March 4, 11, & 18, 2020 at 10 am MT.  We will meet for about one hour but I will make myself available for up to fifteen minutes afterward in case there are lots of questions or we go long.  Please be available for the full 75 minutes.



From the comfort of your own home using Zoom.


What do you need?

Helpful, but not necessary:

  • An account


Who is this course designed for?

Anyone with an interest in Genealogy who:

  • Has experience searching for records on FamilySearch
  • Uses some sort of software or online tree service to track their research and record their finds
  • Knows the difference between a record image and an index

(This course will feel most comfortable for advanced beginners or early intermediate genealogists.)

  • Optional homework assignments to help enhance your learning
  • Direct instruction followed by questions and some live demo in each of three sessions
