This beautiful portrait includes my great-grandmother, Hope Estelle Maffit, and her two children, Uncle Frank, and Grandma Deane. My copy is undated, but after studying other photos of Grandma Deane and Uncle Frank from about this time, I think this was likely taken in about 1944.

The two children certainly look very much alike!
They really do! I have a photo of them together a year or so before my Grandma passed and they still looked very much alike. Especially their eyes. Both the shape and the color. They had/have ice blue eyes. They are so pretty! ❤️
