I’ve been noticing something lately. Some of you don’t have access to records like I do. I’m feeling especially grateful for the resources near me and want to spread the love. So here’s the scoop.
I’m headed to BYU tomorrow to look at a film or two and order two more. Does anybody need a lookup? You know, one of those great indexed records on FamilySearch that has no image? Yep, those ones. If the film is at BYU already I can pull that guy right up for you and send you an image. You can check to see if the film in question is at BYU by going here and typing in the film number. Film numbers are found at the bottom of the index. Just in case this is new to you I have an indexed record below.
See the GS Film number at the bottom? That is the microfilm number. Type that fella into the BYU film lookup and if the film is at BYU, I’ll happily give it a gander.
